Trouble is inevitable in life, but drama is not. Much of life’s drama comes from self-inflicted wounds. Whether preventable or unpreventable, either one can shake our world and knock us to our knees.

What we need to do is to get planted in Jesus “Like the tree that’s planted by the water.” Then, we can joyfully sing “I Shall Not Be Moved,” come what may.
